GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

Time: 1½ Hours Maximum Marks : 40

 Note: Attempt five questions in all, selecting one question from each Unit. Question No. 1 is compulsory. All questions carry equal marks.

1.            Write short note on the following :          4 X 2 = 8

(a)          Principal of Guidance

(b)          Function of Counselling

UNIT-I

2.            Discuss the meaning and need of guidance in educational and vocational area.        16

3.            How does personality testing help in imparting personal and vocational guidance? 16

UNIT-II

4.            Explain the meaning of counselling. Describe the aim and principles of counselling in details. 16

5.            Describe the professional ethics of a counselor in detail.  16
